Fairly Sorted helps organisers create a shared inventory, invite participants to express preferences independently and review an editable split. The organiser is responsible for the list, its invitations and the final decisions made from it.

Features may be experimental, limited or manually admitted during the founding phase.

Provide accurate account information, keep sign-in links and credentials secure, and tell us if you believe your account is being misused. Do not create an account or use the service where you cannot lawfully agree to these terms.

The service is not designed for children to operate independently. Age and consumer-law requirements require jurisdiction-specific review.

Fairly Sorted does not provide formal valuation, legal advice, legal settlement, ownership determinations, professional appraisal, mathematical fairness guarantees, detection guarantees or guaranteed time savings. Users remain responsible for checking the information and agreeing the final outcome.

Only add information and media you have the right and appropriate authority to use and share with the people in the list. Review photo and walkthrough suggestions before confirming them. You remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the inventory.

You grant Fairly Sorted the limited permission needed to host, process, display and delete that content to provide the service. You retain any rights you already hold in your content.

Invite only people who should have access. Do not use the service, its deadlines or its output to pressure, harass or mislead another person. A generated or reviewed split does not transfer legal ownership or prove consent.

Public prices describe intended offers. During the current founding phases, payment collection, card entry, receipts, refunds and paid checkout are disabled.

• Invitees and participants never pay to respond
• Walkthrough and professional access are manually admitted design-partner pilots
• Paid terms, taxes, cancellation, refunds and recurring billing conditions will be published before any charge is collected

This is an early service. Features, access, limits and these terms may change as the product is tested. Processing can fail and the service may be unavailable. Keep an appropriate independent copy of any result that matters legally, financially or operationally.

We may restrict or remove access, lists or content where reasonably needed to protect people, comply with law, address a policy breach or secure the service. Users can stop using the service and can delete their account through Settings.

Deletion and pseudonymisation follow the Privacy policy and may preserve limited records where required to protect other participants’ understandable history or comply with law.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any final exclusions, caps, consumer guarantees and remedies require legal review for the operator and launch jurisdictions. Do not rely on Fairly Sorted as the sole record or decision-maker for critical matters.

The governing law, courts, informal complaint process and any mandatory consumer dispute route must be finalised with the operator’s legal identity before commercial launch. Until then, founding users should raise problems through Contact so they can be addressed directly.
