About Fairly Sorted

Fairly Sorted is an independent product created by Ed Dowding. It helps people turn a complicated shared situation into one list, private choices and an editable way forward.
Why it exists
Household work, family belongings and a full home can all become difficult for the same reason: there is no single, trusted picture of what needs deciding. Fairly Sorted makes that picture visible without pretending software should make the final human decision.
The product is designed to reduce coordination and ambiguity. It is not a valuation service, legal settlement tool or substitute for professional advice.
How it is being built
Fairly Sorted is currently in a founding and design-partner phase. Features are tested with real workflows, and photo or video suggestions remain subject to organiser review.
Early access is intentionally limited while reliability, privacy, accessibility and operating processes are proven.
Who made it
Fairly Sorted was conceived and built by Ed Dowding, working with users and professional design partners. The product, service boundaries and public documentation are maintained as part of the same independent project.
Independence and recommendations
Fairly Sorted does not sell access to people’s shared-list contents. Any future referral or partner relationship will be identified clearly and will not change how a split is calculated.
