Fairly Sorted uses essential browser storage to keep the service working. Optional product analytics runs only after you allow it.
Essential storage
Authentication, security, theme and in-progress workflow state require cookies or browser storage. These controls are necessary to provide features you request and cannot be switched off through the analytics choice.
- Secure session cookie for signed-in requests
- Local authentication state used by the PocketBase client
- Theme choice and temporary workflow recovery state
Optional analytics
If allowed, Fairly Sorted records a small allowlisted set of product events through an EU analytics endpoint. Autocapture, session replay, surveys and advertising tracking are disabled.
The analytics boundary rejects full URLs, names, emails, list titles, item text, invite codes, photos, video and unknown event fields.
Changing your choice
Your analytics choice is stored on this device. Changing browsers or clearing site storage may cause the consent question to appear again. Refusing analytics does not limit product features.
