Common tasks

Start a shared list

Give the list a clear name, choose a ready-made starting point or add your own items, then review it before inviting anyone.

Start a list

Join with an invite

Use the six-character invite code from the organiser. Invite codes expire after fourteen days and can be refreshed by the organiser.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fairly Sorted decide the final split?

No. It creates a useful draft from everyone’s choices. The people involved review and change the result.

Can other people see my choices?

People make choices independently while the list is active. The resulting split is shared for review; it is not a promise of legal confidentiality.

What if a photo suggestion is wrong?

Edit or remove it during review. A detected object does not become a shared card until the organiser confirms it.

Can I remove a shared list?

Any member can archive a list from their own dashboard. The organiser can permanently delete it from Settings → Data and deletion.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings, go to Data and deletion, and use the permanent account deletion control. Organiser-owned lists are deleted; your identity in other people’s lists is pseudonymised.
